Piping requirements  :
If the source of interference (such as tube bends, tapered tubes, valves, T-shaped tubes, etc.) is located in the air intake line of the hot meter, it is important to take measures to minimize its impact on measurement performance.  
The diagram below shows the minimum recommended straight pipe length for different types of pipes.  If the measurement space is large enough, the length of the straight pipe section should be expanded as much as possible.  When other factors are not considered, the minimum recommended straight 

pipe length of the sensor is:  
Front straight pipe section: minimum 20 x DN  
Rear straight pipe section: Minimum 5 x DN  
● Recommended values are minimum values, usually increasing the length will improve the measurement performance of the flow meter.  
● If there are two or more sources of interference in the front straight pipe section of the meter, the maximum recommended length of the front straight pipe is the absolute minimum.  
● It is recommended to install the control valve behind the flow meter.  
● For lighter gases such as helium and hydrogen, the length of the front straight pipe section should be doubled.
