The Venturi Mass Flow Meter is an instrument for measuring the mass flow of fluids.  It is based on the Venturi principle and calculates the mass flow rate of a fluid by the pressure difference between the contraction and expansion segments.  The instrument consists of a contraction section and an expansion section, through which the fluid increases in speed and decreases in pressure, and then decreases in speed and increases in pressure as it passes through the expansion section.  By measuring the pressure difference between these two sections of the fluid, the mass flow rate of the fluid can be calculated.  Venturi mass flow meter has the advantages of high precision, strong reliability and wide application range, and is widely used in the field of industrial flow measurement.

Installation :
(1) Wedge Flow Meter installation to ensure that the fluid flow directly and smoothly. 

(2) Wedge flow meter can be bidirectional detection, the high pressure side of the pressure mouth is always measured in the fluid flow direction. 

(3) Before installation, first verify whether the actual working pressure and flow range in the pipeline are consistent with the specified value of the instrument, and note . The direction sign on the nameplate is consistent with the actual installation. 

(4) Ensure that the fluid in the pipeline is filled with the entire pipeline. 

(5) According to the different installation conditions on the site, the upper and downstream sides of the wedge flow resistance should have a long enough straight pipe section to push.
